I have been working with Dr. Gowey for 10 years - like others have mentioned, at that time I was absolutely wiped out with numerous chronic conditions. Through receiving her brilliant and compassionate care (which I commute one hour each way for on a frequent basis), my life has changed for the better, slowly but surely but also quite dramatically. I can do things in my late 40s that I was unable to do when I was in my mid-thirties. Visiting her office feels like you've arrived to her home, by far the most comfortable environment I've ever been in while seeking medical care. Dr. B will take care of you in her signature style (which again is quite different from any other provider I've ever experienced). I feel so blessed to have been referred to her at a very difficult time in my life and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone who is truly ready to heal without the drudgery of the medical system as we have come to know it, in a comfortable and compassionate space with a top-notch healer.

I came to Dr. Gowey spirit broken and exhausted. Walking was heart pumping difficult and I experienced a lots of joint and nerve pain. I was 41 and felt like I had aged to 90. I was an athlete, that had ran ultras and mountain biked a 100 miles in day. My first consult I cried as, I felt heard and reassured that something was wrong and it wasn’t in my head or a normal part of aging. Dr. Gowey sent me for blood work and started me on a plan to get back to health. I changed my diet, did the IV therapy, hydrotherapy and DNA testing. I took the medicine, did the bath soaks, slathered on the magnesium cream and I started to feel better. Her office visits also gave me the courage to advocate for myself with my PCP and employment. I was referred to a cardiologist and had an echo. I decided to take care of myself and go on FMLA and change work positions to help with stress. Today I was out riding my mountain bike on Elden, laughing and smiling. It has been a slow process to heal….however with the diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue/Fibromyalgia from the PCP(and Epstein Barr virus, vasculitis) I feel like a miracle is happening. CFS patients usually take years to heal if they heal at all. I’m continuing with Dr. Gowey treatments because they work, she has a positive attitude and a whole lot of compassion. I’m getting my life and my energy back.

I want to recommend Doctor Gowey to any who might be having undiagnosed issues. When other doctors give up on you, leave the patient with little hope of being well once again. As occurred in my case. Dr. Gowey never gave up and kept looking. Many hours researching my DNA results and blood work. Finally getting to the underlying issues that kept me injured and sick for so many years. As a very sick, injured patient who was reacting to medication and foods came to Dr Gowey in 2013. I am gaining health and wholeness due to Dr Goweys unwillingness to give up, finding the cause instead of belittling the sick, injured patient by making them feel less or mental because the pharmaceuticals didn't cause healing. Don't settle for covering up your pain or illness. Come and let Dr. Gowey help you get to the cause, which leads to long-term health. You didn't get this way overnight, and it will take work on your end to get better. But you will have an amazing partner with Dr Gowey. I travel over 200 miles one way every month since 2016 since moving to New Mexico. Her care is worth the travel and costs. I am off all pharmaceuticals, with the exception of compounded nutrition injections designed just for me. I no longer take painkillers and anti-inflammatory. I have better days then bad days when for months I couldn't get out of bed. I control inflammation with glutathione, turmeric, and ginger, which is yummy and has no side effects. I am slowly regaining strength. I wished I would have came to Dr Gowey before having all the surgeries that could have been a trauma trigger to what I'm overcoming now.

Dr. Gowey is super!!!! We have been seeing her for around 7 years and travel over an hour each way for our entire family. She is the best full health practitioner we have ever met and does not quit until she finds the reasons behind anything happening. She is amazing and I would say she has saved many of my loved ones for years of chronic pain and/or diseases. She is our family forever doc and like a part of our family!

I have seen her for a variety of things over the last decade and she has always been amazing! She has helped me figure several health issues out that other doctors were unable to find. She is your doctor but also becomes a friend over the years. You really feel cared for and heard. Couldn’t recommend more!!!

Dr Gowey is very thorough and takes her time with her patients. I feel very lucky to have found her. I see her even though I live in phx. She has responded quickly when needed.
